On March 8-9, 2022, the SLSO continued its collaboration with the Pulitzer Arts Foundation, presenting music from composers of today in the Pulitzer's galleries.
The Live at the Pulitzer program included music by composers with ties to Missouri, including the world premiere of 2nd Nature by Christopher Stark, a work for solo violin (performed by SLSO violinist Shawn Weil), recorded sounds, and video.
Other composers featured included Yotam Haber, Carolina Heredia, and LJ White.
SLSO musicians performing on the program included violinists Janet Carpenter, Asako Kuboki, and Shawn Weil; violist Chris Tantillo, and cellist Yin Xiong.
