The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra welcomed new Music Director Stéphane Denève with a Gala Celebration at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on September 20.
The SLSO marked the start of Denève's tenure with a celebratory evening featuring the musical talents of trumpeter Byron Stripling and his jazz ensemble, which performed music inspired by the Hot Club of France.
