Strengthening communities where we live and work.
As part of giving back to the communities where it operates, Emerson and its charitable trust provide financial support to local organizations and initiatives that enhance quality of life, educate future generations, provide for the health and well-being of residents, and provide for key civic development needs. These endeavors extend to helping the nonprofit community stay strong during the COVID-19 pandemic. Emerson’s philanthropic objectives align closely with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s mission to enrich lives through the power of music.
Through its generous support of the SLSO annual fund and the 2018 Realizing Greatness Campaign, Emerson has helped sustain the SLSO’s commitment to artistic excellence, advancing music education, and enhancing our community connections. We deeply appreciate all that Emerson has done for the SLSO and nonprofits in the St. Louis community. The SLSO is delighted to recognize Emerson's generosity to this institution with a new title for the Powell Hall stage, which we have gratefully named the Emerson Concert Stage.

As a leading technology and engineering company with manufacturing facilities around the world, Emerson views its corporate social responsibility broadly and seriously. Its mission as a company is to help industrial, commercial, and residential customers address some of the most important and complex challenges facing the world. Emerson’s goal as a corporate citizen is to leave the world in a better place.
Emerson’s charitable contributions are helping to support nonprofit organizations and educational institutions in the St. Louis region on a wide range of community needs. The company’s philanthropic and employee volunteer efforts put a special focus on supporting institutions that improve our community, broaden access, and provide educational opportunities and experiences.
The entire St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, our board of trustees, musicians, and staff thank Emerson for its leadership, its generous support, and its volunteer commitment to make St. Louis a better place to live and work.
