Composition in the Classroom with Sir James MacMillan

March is Music in Our Schools Month. The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra has a proud tradition of sharing music directly with students in their classrooms, inspiring them to get involved and stay involved in music programs.Connecting students with music goes beyond our full-time musicians and includes guests, too.


Recently, guest conductor Sir James MacMillan joined a group of students at Ladue High School for a workshop all about composing your own music.
